Roster
One student per line: id, Full Name, PIN, Group (Group is optional) — e.g.
420010267, Aiden Aguilar, 0267, Group 6. The id and PIN are optional too — leave them blank
(Jamie Chen or s1, Jamie Chen,) and both will be generated for you automatically
when you save. Whatever you type for the PIN is kept exactly as entered — it does not have to be 4 digits,
so a school ID (or any other value) works fine. Each student needs their private PIN to check in, so after
saving, copy this list and share each student's own PIN with them privately (e.g. one-on-one, not posted
publicly). If you set a Group, it shows as a small tag under their name on the Seating Chart.
Check-In QR Code
This link/QR code is permanent for this class — print it once, tape it up, reuse it all semester. Check-ins only work on the days and time window you set below (plus the network and PIN checks), so an old photo of the code can't be used outside class.
Leave days unchecked and times blank to allow check-in anytime (not recommended once you're live).
Seating Chart
Click a seat, then click a student name below to assign them. Click "Call Random Student" to highlight who's up next — everyone gets called once before anyone repeats.
The spreadsheet should have ONLY student names positioned exactly where they sit — no header row or header column, and leave a cell blank for an empty seat/aisle. Whatever cell a name is in becomes that seat. This replaces the current roster and seating layout for this class.
Attendance Log
Every check-in is kept permanently (name, exact time, and IP address) - useful if you ever need to look into a dispute. Look up one date above, or export the whole history as a spreadsheet file.
